Welcoming the holy month of Ramadan 1447 Hijriah, the District Government has officially implemented a Work From Home (WFH) policy every Friday. This progressive policy is contained in Circular Letter Number: 100.3.4/38/2026 which was signed directly by the Regent of Central Halmahera, Dr. Ir. Ikram M. Sangadji, M.Si., on February 19 2026. Friday is WFH/WFA Day. In the letter, the Regent stipulated that during the fasting month, ASNs are given the flexibility to work remotely every Friday. “Friday: Work From Anywhere/Work From Home (WFA/WFH),” wrote the third point in the working hours details. This step was taken as a form of adaptation to modern work which refers to Presidential Regulation Number 21 of 2023, as well as providing an opportunity for employees to focus more on worship without neglecting their obligations as public servants.
