Viralterkini.id, Jakarta – The 2025 National Esports League officially began and returned as the highlight of the Indonesian Esports competition with a tiered league format consisting of League 3, League 2, and League 1.
This year’s tournament carries the theme of regeneration and openness, opening up the widest possible opportunity for individuals and teams from all over Indonesia to participate.
The competition format is designed inclusive to reach all ecosystems, ranging from community players to professional teams.
League 3, which was the first gate, began on July 23 and will last until September 14, 2025.
Followed by League 2 on September 25 to October 18, and the peak is League 1 which is scheduled to take place on October 31 to November 15, 2025.
A total of 12 teams will compete in the highest caste, including two promotional teams from League 2.
In closing, the playoffs and grand finals will be held offline on 27-29 November 2025 in the festival format that unites elements of competition, entertainment and pop culture.

We hope this league can be a way for eSports fighters throughout Indonesia to show that they deserve to stand on a professional stage,” Wim said.
Not only focused on matches, the 2025 National Esports League also transformed into the Esports and POP culture festival.
Offline activation on playoffs and grand finals will be enlivened with a variety of events such as Meet and Greet with professional players, Fun Match, Coswalk Competition, Student Art Stage, to UMKM and F&B bazaars.
Various interactive activities such as mini tournament, stamp rally, and door prizes will also be involved to enliven the event and involve directly thousands of spectators.
Garudaku’s head of marketing, Azwin Nugraha, added that the National Esports League is not only a tournament, but a character -forming ecosystem.
“Behind every click and game strategy, there are noble values: sportsmanship, hard work, and perseverance. Our ideals are simple but big: making eSports as a dignified and sustainable way of life,” Azwin said.
Reflecting on last year’s implementation, the National Esports League has recorded an impressive achievement.
Total Digital Reach touched 76.6 million, impression reached 117 million, and digital content was watched 21.3 million times on various platforms such as Tiktok, Youtube, Instagram, and Facebook.
In terms of participation, as many as 132,032 registered athletes took part, 326,050 visitors were present directly, and 535,930 digital traffic visits were recorded during the implementation.
This achievement made the national eSports league one of the eSports competitions with the most significant reach and impact in the Southeast Asian region.

“This competition is part of the long-term strategy of PB ESI in preparing talents of esports that are able to compete while strengthening the role of eSports as a new force in the creative industry of the country,” he said.
With competitive prizes, participation from thousands of players throughout Indonesia, as well as strong support from the community and national media, the 2025 National Esports League is believed to be an important milestone in the Indonesian Esports journey.
This tournament also strengthens Indonesia’s position as the main force in the Asian esports industry.
