Jakarta is the Overall Champion of Three National Sports Events 2025, MPOJ: Proof that the Collaboration between Dispora & KONI DKI is Working

Viralterkini.id, Jakarta – The DKI Jakarta contingent again became the overall champion at the XVII National Student Sports Week (POPNAS) and the XI National Student Paralympic Week (PEPARPENAS) 2025.

At POPNAS, DKI Jakarta won a total of 221 medals, namely 101 Gold, 56 Silver and 64 Bronze.

Below Jakarta, namely Central Java (Central Java): 153 medals (57 Gold, 39 Silver, 56 Bronze), in second place is East Java (Jaktim): 50 Gold, 54 Silver, 58 Bronze or a total of 162 medals.

West Java (West Java): 44 Gold, 51 Silver, 65 Bronze for a total of 160 medals and Banten: 16 Gold, 12 Silver, 22 Bronze and a total of 50 medals.

Previously, Jakarta also won the overall championship of the Martial Arts PON which was held in Kudus, Central Java, winning 42 Gold, 27 Silver and 30 Bronze (99 medals). Under Jakarta there are West Java and East Java.

At the National Student Sports Week (POMNAS), Jakarta became the overall champion followed by Central Java and East Java and East Java.

“We are quite proud of our consecutive achievements. This is a hat trick or triple winner for Jakarta in the national EVNET event,” emphasized Jakarta Sports Monitoring Society (MPOJ) researcher, Sofwan Sulthon in a press release to journalists in Jakarta, Monday (10/11).

Sofwan admitted that the overall title of POMNAS, PON Martial Arts and POPNAS in the same year (2025) was proof that achievement development in Jakarta was going well.

And the collaboration between the Youth and Sports Service (Dispora) and KONI DKI Jakarta is running optimally.

“The synergy and collaboration between Dispora and KONI is a solution to boost sports performance in Jakarta. This intimacy must be maintained until the 2028 NTB and NTT PON events,” said Sofwan.

According to Sofwan, the results of MPOJ’s research and monitoring during POMNAS, PON Martial Arts and POPNAS since Jakarta led by Pramono Anung and Rano Karno showed that KONI and Dispora were running optimally without any noise.

“KONI and Dispora are aligned. At POMNAS, PON Martial Arts and POPNAS, both KONI and Dispora strengthen each other,” he explained.

Sofwan urged Dispora and KONI DKI to maintain synergy and collaboration to strengthen each other without any noise.

“The key is synergy and collaboration. Don’t let job hunters emerge and ruin Jakarta’s sports,” he said.

MPOJ also hopes that Pramono Anung and Rano Karno and the DKI Jakarta DPRD will continue to support collaboration and harmonization between Dispora and KONI.

“Because sports achievement development cannot be done with mere luck and claims,” ​​added Sofwan.
