Viralterkini.id, Jakarta — SD Muhammadiyah 5 Jakarta has once again made an achievement through an event MUMA Festival 2025an annual event that is a forum for developing the talents and interests of early age students.
The event took place on Saturday (8/11/2025) in the Jalan Limau school yard, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, recorded history with a solution Record IN for the activity “Assembling Mini Robot Blocks by the Most Early Age Students in Indonesia”.
Principal of Muhammadiyah Elementary School 5, Ali Yusuf Zakirexplained that MUMA Fest is an annual agenda which has now entered its sixth year of implementation.
This year, the activity was attended by 1,150 students from 85 early childhood education institutionsincluding family planning, PAUD, and kindergarten in the region Jabodetabek.
“Alhamdulillah, MUMA Fest 2025 is a proud moment because it succeeded in setting a MURI record. Apart from being a competition event, this activity also encourages the development of children’s potential and character from an early age,” said Ali Yusuf Zakir.
Various competitive activities are held in this festival, starting from in the fields of art, religion, sports, and agility.
Some favorite competitions include: dance competition, Tahfiz competition, mini futsal, arrange the glasses, balanceas well as put the ball into the basket.
All activities are designed to foster a spirit of collaboration, creativity and sportsmanship among children.
MUMA Fest 2025 is not only a competition event, but also a symbol of collaboration between educational institutions and various stakeholders.
This year, SD Muhammadiyah 5 is collaborating with Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbudristek), Indonesian Record Museum (MURI)as well as a number of other educational institutions and communities.
“We are grateful that this activity is supported by many parties. We hope that in the future, more and more stakeholders will collaborate so that similar activities can be bigger and have a wider impact,” added Ali Yusuf.
From the Ministry of Education and Culture, present Dr. Abdul Halim Muharram, M.Pd, Widyaprada Main Expert of the Directorate General of Early Childhood Education, Basic Education and Secondary Education.
He expressed his appreciation for holding the MUMA Fest 2025 which was considered capable of answering the challenges of children’s education in the digital era.
“Activities like MUMA Fest are very important because they play a role in building character and strengthening the enthusiasm for learning in young children,” said Abdul Halim.
He added that this kind of activity supports the government’s priority programs digitalization of education.
According to him, the Ministry is encouraging its use digital interactive e-board as a learning tool in elementary schools, so that children get used to interactive learning that is adaptive to current developments.
Abdul Halim believes that in the midst of the rapid flow of digitalization, activities that involve children’s direct participation in positive activities are very important.
He emphasized that technology-based learning must not eliminate the essence of character building and cooperation.
“Children must be supervised so that digital learning goes hand in hand with character strengthening. MUMA Fest is a real example of how school and community collaboration can produce activities that are both educational and fun,” he explained.
The Ministry of Education and Culture also hopes that activities like MUMA Fest can be replicated by other schools throughout Indonesia.
With the spirit of competition and collaborative activities, children can grow into a generation that is creative, competitive and has noble character.
“If SD Muhammadiyah 5 can organize activities of this magnitude, of course other schools can too. Collaboration like this is really needed to strengthen students’ character and motivation to learn,” he added.
Through holding MUMA Fest 2025, SD Muhammadiyah 5 demonstrated a strong commitment to supporting national education policies, especially in developing the potential of early childhood.
This school consistently innovates by presenting educational activities that combine spiritual, social and technological aspects.
Ali Yusuf Zakir hopes that achieving the MURI record will not only be a matter of pride, but also motivation for teachers and parents to continue to create a fun and inspiring learning environment.
“We want children to grow up happy, with character, and ready to face the future. MUMA Fest is a small step towards that big goal,” he concluded.
