The 22 year old athlete performed dominantly by winning five gold medals and two silver medals, as well as becoming one of the largest medal contributors for the Indonesian contingent.

For this achievement, Martina received a bonus from Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto as a form of the country’s appreciation for athletes who have made the nation proud at the international level.

The bonus was handed over symbolically at an official event at the State Palace, Jakarta.

The triathlon athlete, who is known for being disciplined and consistent in training, also expressed his appreciation to the government, especially President Prabowo Subianto and Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora) Erick Thohir, for the support given to Indonesian athletes.

“Thank you to Mr. President and Mr. Menpora who continue to support us athletes. This support is very meaningful and is a big motivation to continue to achieve at a higher level,” said Martina.

According to him, the government’s attention through bonuses and coaching provides additional energy for athletes to continue fighting and improve their performance in every championship. He believes that this support shows that the achievements of athletes are truly appreciated by the state.

Even though she has achieved brilliant achievements at the 2025 SEA Games, Martina emphasized that she does not want to be complacent. He has set big targets for his future career, with the Olympics as a long-term goal.

“The long-term target is of course the Olympics. Hopefully I can qualify. For the near future, my focus is on the next Asian Games and SEA Games. The most important thing is how to maintain performance and consistency,” he explained.

Martina Ayu’s achievements also attracted the attention of President Prabowo Subianto during the bonus handover ceremony at the State Palace.

The Head of State even directly counted the number of medals Martina won, as a form of appreciation for this extraordinary achievement.
