FFI prepares the national team for the 2025 SEA Games, AFC Futsal Asian Cup 2026 and 4NWS – Indonesia’s latest viral

Viralterkini.id, Jakarta – The Indonesian Futsal Federation (FFI) held a meeting with the media to discuss the important agenda of the Indonesian Futsal National Team in September 2025

The first agenda is an international tournament in China on 5-11 September 2025. This tournament will be attended by eight countries: China, Indonesia, South Korea, Thailand, Denmark, New Zealand, Myanmar, and Laos/UAE. This event will be a valuable opportunity to test the team’s ability to fight various styles of world play.

The second agenda is the Indonesia Futsal 4 Nations World Series (4NWS) which will take place on 18-21 September 2025 at GBK Basketball Hall A, Senayan, Jakarta. Two international teams have confirmed participation, namely the Netherlands and Latvia, while another team will be announced in the near future. This event received support from PSSI and Garuda Indonesian Soccer (GSI), including the integration of Garuda ID as part of the innovation of audience and fan engagement services.

The Chairperson of FFI, Michael V. Sianipar, said that these two agendas were not only a technical preparation place, but also efforts to build a champion mentality and improve Indonesia’s international exposure.

Previously, the Chairperson of the Indonesian Futsal Federation had met with the Chairperson of PSSI, Mr. Erick Thohir, to report the work program that had been running this year and explained the projected programs that were coming next year. This meeting became part of the synergy between FFI and PSSI in building a more competitive and integrated national futsal ecosystem with Indonesian football achievement roadmap.

Both of these international agendas are part of the Indonesian futsal national team’s achievement roadmap which will cultivate at the AFC Futsal Asian Cup 2026 in Indonesia on January 27 – February 7, 2026. (MA)
