Viralterkini.idLAMPUNG – Bhayangkara Presisi Lampung FC continued the positive trend after beating Persija Jakarta with a narrow score of 3-2 in the 26th week of the BRI Super League. The match which took place at the PKOR Sumpah Pemuda Stadium, Sunday (5/4) afternoon WIB, was fierce and full of drama until the final minute.
The team nicknamed The Guardian secured victory through a brilliant performance by Moussa Sidibe who scored two goals in the 28th minute and 90+4. Another goal was contributed by Dendy Sulistyawan in the 86th minute.
Meanwhile, Persija surprised the hosts with Muhammad Rayhan Hannan’s quick goal after just one minute of the match. The Kemayoran Tigers’ second goal was scored by Fabio Calonego in the 62nd minute.
Statistically, Bhayangkara Presisi Lampung FC appeared more dominant and was able to maximize the opportunities they had. Even though they were behind, they showed a strong mentality to get up and turn things around at the end of the match.



Bhayangkara Presisi Lampung FC coach, Paul Munster, said this victory was the result of the team’s hard work. He admitted that the match was difficult, especially after conceding quickly at the start of the match.
“This was an exciting match because we got three points. But it’s not easy, Persija is a strong team,” said Munster after the match.
He added that changing strategy was the key to his team’s revival. Munster also praised Sidibe’s decisive performance.
“He has great quality and I already expected him to perform well in a match like this,” he said.
Despite winning, Munster still highlighted their team’s weaknesses, especially in defense.
“I can’t accept conceding at the start and from free kicks. Our mentality must always be to win,” he stressed.
This victory brought Bhayangkara Presisi Lampung FC up to fifth in the standings with 44 points, while extending their winning trend to six consecutive matches.
On the other hand, the defeat left Persija stuck in third place with 52 points. The Kemayoran Tigers also extended their winless trend in the last three matches, after previously being held to draws by Dewa United FC and Borneo FC.
Their gap with the top of the standings, Persib Bandung, is also widening, making the title competition even tighter towards the end of the season. (ma)
