West Java Regional Police became the first contestant to qualify for the final match after conquering the East Java Regional Police with a score of 2-0.

The men’s doubles pair Rifki Ramadhan/Zaenal Mutaqin opened the advantage of the West Java Regional Police after defeating the duo Bayu Dalugawa Happy/Daru Megananda with a score of 21-13, 21-17.

The momentum of victory continues in the second party. The couple Robby Maulana/Sandy Satria appeared solid and managed to reduce the resistance of Alfian Ridlo Rabbany/Leo Chandra Pradana two games directly with a score of 21-11, 21-11, ensuring the steps of the West Java Regional Police to the final.

West Java Regional Police Deputy Manager, Deden Ahmad Jani, expressed his gratitude for the success of his foster children through the final round.

Meanwhile, the National Police Criminal Investigation Brimob confirmed the ticket to the final after frustrating the resistance of the Central Java Regional Police with a score of 2-0.

The Khuznulkhariam couple, S.Pd./RESI PANDUWINATA successfully completed the first match with a landslide victory 21-10, 21-10 over Beny Sapto Ajie/Delta Adi Nugraha.

In the second party, the couple Akhmad Rizky/Muhammad Alfian Hasyim had received fierce resistance from Afrizal Restu Illahi/Eben Hendrawan Siregar, especially in the second game.

But Rizky/Alfian was able to secure a dramatic victory 21-12, 22-20 as well as delivering the National Police Korbrimob B to the top party.

Alfian Hasyim said he had felt depressed in the second game because of the tense atmosphere and great support from fellow Korbrimob members.

“In the first game we were able to take control of the game. But in the second game we felt tense because it was a determinant, especially since many of our friends watched in the stands,” said Alfian.

After being left behind 18-20 in the second game, Rizky and Alfian tried to change the strategy so that the opponent had difficulty returning the ball.

“I told my partner, don’t serve the opponent’s drive, we better put the ball so that they are lifting, so we can attack back. Incidentally the direction of the wind also supports us to master the game. Thank God, finally we can turn things around,” Alfian explained.

Rizky also expressed his gratitude for the achievement of his team who was able to penetrate the final even though he had previously stumbled in the preliminary round.

“Alhamdulillah, I can bring the Korbrimob to the final after losing the preliminary. Tomorrow we have to play all out, don’t tense, and play off because we are in the final,” Rizky said.

The final round of the 2025 Police Chief of Police Cup Badminton Championship Special Police Category will take place on Sunday (6/7/2025) starting at 09.00 WIB at GOR UNJ Rawamangun, East Jakarta.
