The Press Council Call on Indonesia’s Latest Viral Performance

VIRALTERKINI.ID, JAKARTA – Observing the development of the situation, especially in the Jakarta area, where there was a demonstration since last Thursday (August 28, 2025), the Press Council submitted an appeal to the Press community as follows:

1. Calling for the mass media to work professionally, uphold the journalistic code of ethics. UU No. 40/1999 concerning the Press;
2. Convey events and facts accurately, honestly and based on faith in the interests of the wider community;
3. To journalists/ journalists/ media as a whole who cover the ongoing events, so that they are always vigilant and maintain their personal safety and coverage;
4. To the apparatus on duty in the field, it should maintain the safety of journalists/ journalists/ media who carry out their journalistic duties.
