The Minister of Tourism appealed to emphasize ChSE standards and risk mitigation in Indonesia’s latest destinations

VIRALTERKINI.ID, JAKARTA – Anticipating a surge of mobility during school holidays and 2025 class promotion, Minister of Tourism, Widiyanti Putri Wardhana actively socializing a circular (SE) which emphasizes the readiness of tourist destinations in terms of safety, service and security aspects. The socialization was carried out through the “School Holidays Coordination Meeting 2025” virtually with the Ministry of Home Affairs and regional leaders from 38 provinces.

According to Minister Widiyanti, the school holiday period is the culmination of national tourism activities, which also bring risks ranging from the safety of visitors to readiness to face natural disasters. Therefore, the coordination of centers and business actors becomes important so that the vacation runs smoothly and satisfactorily.

Through this, local governments are expected to implement: CHSE (Cleanliness, Health, Safety, Environmental Sustainability), Permenpar 4/2021: Tourism Standards Based on Risk Assessment, Activate Multi -Participation Coordination for Readiness, Mitigation, and Evacuation, excellent service and K3 SOP, especially in high -risk attractions, and informative management and regional labies for the driver.

For tourists, there is an appeal to obey SOPs, care for safety, and maintain cleanliness and comfort during a visit.

Deputy Development of Kemenpar Destinations, Hariyanto, added that 22 Mitigation Guide Modules have been released – including security protocols, handling emergencies, and providing child -friendly infrastructure and people with disabilities. This module can be a reference for regional operations and tourist actors.

“These modules are not just theory, but technical guidelines are ready to use to maintain the safety, comfort, and safety of destinations during the peak of the holidays,” he said.

Minister Widiyanti hopes that this will be an operational guide that can be adjusted at the district/city level. The integration of government strategies, business actors, the community, and tourists will produce an orderly, safe and family -friendly destination.

“Synergy is the key. With the ongoing coordination, we realize school holidays that leave a positive impression, not a matter of security or comfort,” he said.

The coordination meeting was also attended by the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Secretariat of the Ministry of Tourism, and the Head of the Department of Tourism throughout the province, showed the government’s real commitment in ensuring the quality of the national holiday 2025. (MA)
