The 2025 National Police Cup Badminton event was held back – Indonesia’s latest viral

Viralterkini.id, Jakarta-The 2025 National Police Chief Cup Badminton Championship was held again, which was previously in 2024 which was successful in commemorating Bhayangkara 2025.

The championship which is the collaboration of the National Police and PBSI was held as an effort of the National Police to support the development of badminton in Indonesia and to strengthen relations between the National Police and the community.

Secretary General of PP PBSI as well as the Chairperson of the 2025 National Police Chief Cup Badminton Championship Committee, Ricky Soebagja welcomed the implementation of this championship which was a form of concern for the Indonesian Police Agency in participating in developing badminton in the country.

“This championship is of course a manifestation of the Indonesian National Police institution that pays attention and concern with the emergence of potential badminton player seeds in the country. I give appreciation and hope that talented seeds will emerge which can later boast of our nation and country,” said Ricky.

The 2025 National Police Chief Cup Badminton Championship competed the category of age and special age groups. For the age group category will be contested by novice, teenagers and cadets which include a single, double and mixed sector.

Whereas for the Special Polri category, 52 participants consisted of 32 Polda teams and 20 teams from the Headquarters Satker. In this team number three doubles will be contested with a composition of two pairs with a minimum age of 60 years and one double pair with free age.

“Appreciation to the Indonesian National Police who held a special internal championship by competing in team numbers. This shows that the Indonesian Police are also interested in conducting badminton fostering in the National Police Institutional and Work Unit,” said Ricky.

The presence of the 2025 National Police Chief Cup Badminton Championship specifically for the National Police internal showed that the attention of the Indonesian National Police on badminton development was very good. With this event, it is expected to make members of the police able to fit in carrying out their duties.

“We certainly hope that from this championship activity, the National Police of the Republic of Indonesia will support the development of badminton sports, improve the achievements of badminton, and the most basic increases in the fitness of the police officers so that in carrying out the tasks will continue to be better,” said Ricky.
