September former Special Staff Nadiem Makarim was examined by the KPK 12 hours

Viralterkini.id, Jakarta – Former Special Staff of Nadiem Makarim, Fiona Handayani, was examined by the KPK for 12 hours. He was questioned in the investigation of alleged corruption in the procurement of Google Cloud in the Ministry of Education and Culture.

Fiona arrived at the KPK Red and White Building on Tuesday (2/9/2025) at 9.15 WIB. He only came out at 21.15 WIB after being in the second floor examination room.

Wearing batik and brown backpack, Fiona left the KPK building. He did not answer the reporter’s questions waiting for him.

Shortly before entering the white Avanza car, he just made it briefly. “Thanks,” Fiona said to the media crew on Tuesday (2/9/2025).

KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo stressed that investigators needed Fiona’s statement. “The investigation is still progressing,” Budi said in his office, South Jakarta.

This is not the first time Fiona has been examined. On July 30, 2025, he was also examined eight hours and chose silence when leaving the building.

The KPK is exploring the alleged corruption of Google Cloud procurement. Meanwhile, the Attorney General’s Office handled a Chromebook procurement case.

“Is Google Cloud the same as the Chromebook handled by the Attorney General’s Office? The answer is different,” said Acting Acting and Execution of the KPK Asep Guntur Rahayu.

Asep explained, the Chromebook case involved hardware. While the KPK focuses on software, namely the procurement of Google Cloud.

He added that coordination with the AGO was still carried out. “Although, this is a package that cannot be separated between hardware and software,” said Asep.

In the Chromebook case, the AGO has named four suspects. They are Jurist Tan, Ibrahim Arief, Sri Wahyuningsih, and Mulyatsyah.

Jurist Tan is also known to be a former staff of Nadiem Makarim. While the other three were the Ministry of Research and Technology officials in the 2020-2021 period. (ma)
