PWI JAYA MANDIRI Holds the 2025 MHT Award, without the support of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government Diskominfotik – Indonesia’s latest viral

VIRALTERKINI.ID, JAKARTA – The implementation of the Indonesian Journalists Association of DKI Jakarta Province (PWI Jaya) is preparing to hold a Journalistic Award Muhammad Hoesni Thamrin on Friday (29/8) at the Auditorium Abdulrahman Saleh, RRI Jakarta. The 51st MHT Award of 2025 was held by PWI Jaya independently, with the support of loyal business partners.

The Chairman of PWI Jaya Kesit Budi Handoyo specifically expressed his appreciation to all supporters of this prestigious annual activity. In the midst of economic conditions that are not fully encouraging, he said, the MHT Award 2025 event still gained appreciation from partners.

“Extraordinary support from the partners made the board of management and the entire committee very eager to succeed the 51st Journalistic Award Night Muhammad Thamrin Thamrin in 2025,” said Kesit B Handoyo, Friday (1/8).

Kesit emphasized that the 51st MHT Award was carried out independently without participation or support from the DKI Jakarta Provincial Information and Statistics Communication Office (Diskominfotik). Previously, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government Diskominfotik bore the prize money for the main winners of the seven categories that were contested, bear the honorarium of the judges, and provide a place along with his banquet. The year ago, the awarding of awards for seven main winners and 14 nominee was held in the Pattern Room, Graha Ali Sadikin, DKI Jakarta Provincial Government City Hall.

“Since the beginning of the MH Thamrin Journalistic Award is a collaboration between PWI Jaya and the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, where the top event in the form of awards is always attended by the Governor of DKI Jakarta. The Governor is also willing to give a trophy to the main winners of the seven categories that are contested,” said Kesit.

The seven categories contested on the MHT Award are photos, text, canopy, infographic, terrestrial TV, TV streaming and audio radio. All related to the dynamics of Jakarta development.

The award was conveyed to the Djarum Foundation, Japfa Compeps Indonesia, PLN UID Jakarta Raya, One Globe Capital, BTN Bank Corporate Secretary, Pegadaian, PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry, Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison, Eigerindo Multi Industrial Products, PT Pelabuhan Indonesia, PT Gajah Tunggal Tbk, Samsung, and BP Tapera (Public Housing Savings), Prudential and Blue Bird.

Interestingly, support was also given by a member of the West Java DPD RI, Alfiansyah, who was popular with the name Komeng. Also DPR member Nico Siahaan.
