PKSI DKI Jakarta and Yogyakarta City Holds a match training, focus on facing PON XXII and Porprov DIY – the latest Indonesian viral

Viralterkini.id, Jakarta – Persatuan Korfball Seluruh Indonesia (PKSI) DKI Jakarta dan PKSI Kota Yogyakarta menggelar latihan bersama dan latih tanding di Tifosi Sport Center, Jakarta Timur, pada 11–12 Juli 2025. Agenda ini menjadi bagian dari persiapan kedua daerah dalam menghadapi kompetisi bergengsi, termasuk Pekan Olahraga Nasional (PON) XXII 2028 di NTT–NTB dan Pekan Olahraga Provinsi (Porprov) DIY.

Chairperson of DKI Jakarta PKSI, Adi Dwiariono, and Yogyakarta City PKSI General Chairperson, Dr. Budi Aryanto, M.Pd, was also present directly to provide full support to athletes who competed.

The series of activities began on Friday night (11/7) with a two -match match training session. The first match brought together the first team in the format of K4-1tiang 4 Quarter and K4-2tiang 4quarter +2quarter additional for the second layer, to provide opportunities to play to the second layer players from each team.

The activity continued on Saturday (12/7), which was divided into two sessions. The first session starts at 16:00 to 18:00 WIB with joint training focused on the development of team techniques and strategies. Then from 19:00 to 21:00 WIB, a matching coach with a more complex K8 match format and involved more players.

DKI Jakarta PKSI Chairperson, Adi Dwiariono, expressed his appreciation for the presence of the Yogyakarta City Korfball Team. He considered this agenda was very important to increase the athlete’s flying hours and strengthen preparations ahead of PON XXII.

“This match training is the first for the DKI team after the Pelatda selection was completed at the end of May 2025

Furthermore, Adi stated that activities like this are not only technically useful, but also have a positive impact in introducing and developing corphel sports, especially in Jakarta. He emphasized that the importance of maintaining the fighting spirit to defend the overall championship of the Korfball won by DKI Jakarta at PON XXI 2024 Aceh -Sumut Lalu.

“Hopefully, we can re -achieve achievements at PON XXII later. In addition, the more often the training and matches will strengthen the ability of athletes, while encouraging public interest in Korfball. That way, there will be more championships that can be held and increase the competitiveness of athletes nationally,” he explained.

Appreciation was also conveyed to the DKI Jakarta KONI and the DKI Jakarta Youth and Sports Service (Dispora) which continued to support every coaching agenda carried out by DKI Jakarta PKSI. According to Adi, the success of athlete development cannot be separated from the sustainable support of regional sports stakeholders.

Meanwhile, the Chairperson of the Yogyakarta City PKSI, Dr. Budi Aryanto, M.Pd, emphasized that the participation of his team in the Try-in session (joint training and matching) was part of the strategy of facing the Provincial Championship (Kejurprov) and Porprov DIY 2025.

“We are very grateful for the warm welcome from Mr. Adi and the DKI Jakarta PKSI management, including the coaching team. Through this match training, we hope that the results of the evaluation and experience can be implemented immediately during the DIY Porprov later, even exceeding the target set,” said Dr. Budi.

Dr. Budi also assessed that this activity provided great benefits for the development of korfball at the regional level. In addition to preparing the team to face competition, this activity strengthens the network and collaboration between PKSI management across provinces.

With a consistent spirit of collaboration and coaching, both DKI Jakarta PKSI and Yogyakarta City PKSI hopes that Korfball will be more widely known and become one of the proud sports branches at the national and international levels. (ma)
