Persita Beats Exactly 3-1 in Manahan, Laskar Sambernyawa is getting worse

Viralterkini.id, Solo – Persis Solo again experienced negative results in the 16th week of the BRI Super League 2025/2026. Playing in front of their own supporters at Manahan Stadium, Solo, Sunday (4/1) afternoon, Laskar Sambernyawa had to recognize Persita Tangerang’s superiority with a score of 1-3.

This defeat meant that Persis had not moved from the bottom of the standings or 18th position. The team from Bengawan City has only collected seven points from a total of 16 matches played this season.

On the other hand, the victory in Solo was a sweet result for Persita Tangerang. The additional three points made the Cisadane Warriors move up to fifth in the standings with a collection of 28 points. This result also marks Persita’s record of three consecutive wins in the 2025/2026 BRI Super League.

Persita appeared aggressive from the start of the match. Matheus Alves scored a quick goal when the game had only been running for five minutes. The visitors’ lead increased through Aleksa Andrejic who scored two goals in the 14th and 41st minutes respectively, closing the first half with a score of 3-0.

Persis was only able to reduce the deficit in the second half through Gervane Kastaneer’s goal in the 62nd minute. However, until the long whistle sounded, the score 1-3 in Persita’s favor remained.

The match was stopped in the 80th minute due to thick smoke that filled the Manahan Stadium field, caused by fire flares lit by spectators. Once conditions permit, the match will continue until it is finished.

Persita coach, Carlos Pena, appreciated the performance of his team after the match.
“We started the match quite well, took advantage of opportunities, defended with discipline, and I am proud that the team was able to get the three points,” said Carlos Pena in the post-match press conference session.

In the next match, which will also be the last match in the first half of this season, Persita is scheduled to host Borneo FC at the Indomilk Arena, Friday (9/1/2026). (ma)
