Persita added power, bring in Hokky Caraka – the latest viral of Indonesia

Viralterkini.id, Tangerang – Persita proudly announced the arrival of young Hokky Caraka striker ahead of the new season BRI Super League 2025/26 rolled.

The 20 -year -old player from Gunungkidul, in Yogyakarta was brought in from PSS Sleman and will sharpen the front line of the Cisadane warrior.

“Of course my feelings are very happy especially Persita is one of the teams that has more historical values in national football,” Hokky said.

The PSS Sleman academy dropout player had participated in the Garuda Select program and made his professional debut in League 1 in 2021.

For four Hokky seasons appeared in 68 matches and scored 7 goals for PSS Sleman. Of course he has faced the Cisadane warrior several times.

“When the offer came from Persita, and I knew that this team was a compact team, I did not think long in accepting this offer,” he continued.

Since young age, Hokky has experienced international experience by joining the Indonesian U-20 national team in 2022.

In October 2023, Hokky received a call to the Indonesian National Team. He made his debut on October 12, 2023, against Brunei in the first leg of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers which ended with a landslide victory 6-0 for Garuda. A few days later, Hokky successfully scored two goals in the second leg.

The owner of 11 caps for the senior national team hopes to bring Persita to finish in the highest ranking at the end of the season.

“Hopefully I can contribute well in bringing Persita to finish in the highest position this season,” he said.

Together with Yardan Yafi, Hokky became part of the U-23 national team squad which some time ago won the title of the ASEAN U-23 Championship 2025 runner-up in Jakarta. (ma)
