Luka Modric Ready to Join AC Milan, Salary at San Siro 60 Billion Rupiah – Indonesia’s Latest Viral

Viralterkini.id, Milan- Real Madrid legend, Luka Modric, reportedly gave the initial green light to join AC Milan for free this summer. The Croatian veteran midfielder will end his brilliant journey with Los Blancos after the 2025 Club World Cup.

According to famous transfer journalists Fabrizio Romano, Modric and Milan have reached a verbal agreement and only waiting for time to formalize it. The 39 -year -old player is said to sign a one -year contract with an extension option until the end of the 2026/27 season.

Although the age approaches the head of four, Modric does not show signs of retirement in the near future. The main target is to defend Croatia at the 2026 World Cup. Throughout the 2024-25 season, the maestro appeared impressive with 56 appearances for Real Madrid, scored four goals and gave nine assists.

Modric was linked to the move to the Saudi Arabian League or MLS, even Rangers had emerged as a potential destination. However, rumors to Scotland faded after Rangers decided to appoint Russell Martin instead of Davide Ancelotti as head coach.

Now, AC Milan is the strongest candidate, and Modric is said to be ready to continue his career under the direction of Massimiliano Allegri, who returned to the Rossoneri coach’s seat.

In Romano’s report, Modric will receive a payment of 3.5 million euros per year (around 60 billion rupiah). Although there has been no official announcement, Milan reportedly postponed the inauguration of the transfer as a form of respect for Modric’s commitment with the Croatian national team this summer.

Modric ended his work with Real Madrid with extraordinary incision: 43 goals and 95 assists in 591 appearances. He also became an important pillar in the golden era of Madrid, including when winning the Ballon d’Or 2018.

The arrival of Modric to San Siro coincided with the potential for the departure of Milan’s main midfielder, Tijjani Reijnders, to Manchester City. Even so, Modric will not be a direct substitute for the Dutch player.
