Hayono Isman Sugged Djan Faridz Regarding House Disputes in East Kemang – Indonesia’s Latest Viral

VIRALTERKINI.ID, JAKARTA-Former Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora) as well as a member of the DPR-RI three periods, Hayono Isman, is in the middle of a legal dispute related to home ownership in the East Kemang area, South Jakarta.

Through his attorney, Hayono filed a lawsuit against the law (PMH) against a number of parties, including PPP senior politician, Djan Faridz, who was said to have suddenly claimed to be the legal owner of the house.

Hayono Isman’s attorney, Victor RM Sohilait, revealed that his client had entered into a binding agreement (PPJB) with Hasan Ahmad as the homeowner in 2016.

In the agreement, the payment process is carried out in stages and runs smoothly without significant obstacles.

But on January 7, 2025, Hayono was surprised to receive information that the house that was still in the process of purchasing had apparently been auctioned and won by Djan Faridz through the Jakarta Branch 5 Auction Hall.

“Our clients are very surprised because there is no official notification in writing, both to him or to the seller, Hasan Ahmad. Whereas according to the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), all related parties must get a notification in advance,” Victor said in a press statement, Thursday (12/6/2025).

Victor assessed that the auction process was legally flawed because it was carried out without notice to the legal buyers. On that basis, his party has filed a PMH lawsuit at the East Jakarta District Court with a case number 245/PDT.G/2025/PN.JKT.TI. The case has entered the trial stage since May 6, 2025.

In the lawsuit, the plaintiff included three defendants namely Hasan Ahmad as a seller, Djan Faridz as the winner of the auction, and the Jakarta Branch Auction Hall 5 as the auction organizer.

In addition, Victor also condemned the intimidative action taken by a number of Brimob apparatus allegedly deployed by Djan Faridz to maintain and fenced off the house. He said, the officers in full uniform could not show an official assignment letter.

“I have asked them directly, no one can show the assignment letter. So in our opinion, the existence of the full uniform officials is illegal,” said Victor.

He also mentioned that the construction and renovation at the disputed home is still ongoing. It has requested that all activities be stopped temporarily until the legal process be completed and has permanent legal force (inkracht).

Victor added, his party had also sent a letter of request for legal protection to the National Police Chief and Kompolnas. This step was taken to avoid arbitrary actions against Hayono Isman and the family who were said to be still living in the house.

“I hope the National Police Chief responds to this request positively and in writing so that there is no further loss for our clients. Moreover, at this time there are officials who often carry out intimidative actions,” said Victor.

He requested that all parties who were in dispute with Hayono respect and comply with the ongoing legal process in court. According to him, as the party who also uses the services of a legal counsel, they should understand the importance of refraining from actions that can injure the judicial process.

“There should be no party who conducts forced occupation, especially with arrogant attitude. All must be subject to the law. We want to emphasize that in fact legal, land and building objects are still in the process of purchasing by our clients,” he said.

Victor also appealed to all parties not to make unilateral claims or physical actions that could make the atmosphere worse. He asserted that the house that became the object of dispute should not be closed access or maintained arbitrarily by uniformed officials without legality.

“Such actions are very detrimental to our clients, including relatives who want to stay in touch. We protest and strongly reject the existence of police officers who are used to suppress and intimidate,” concluded Victor.

Meanwhile, representing Hayono Isman in a statement to the media, colleague and his best friend, Widodo, conveyed an apology for Hayono’s absence. He said Hayono was undergoing another agenda and gave a mandate to convey the official attitude of the family.

“I am here representing Pak Hayono Isman, my best friend and mentor. We have been together in the world of sports and also at Ikal Lemhannas RI. He conveyed an apology that he could not attend directly,” Widodo said.

The PMH lawsuit at the East Jakarta District Court will continue in the near future. Hayono Isman hopes that the legal process will run transparently and fairly, and become a way out of the dispute over home ownership that has been going on since the beginning of this year. (ma)
