Garudayaksa FC Aims for Three Points When Jamu Persekat in the Third Phase of the Pegadaian Championship

Viralterkini.id, BOGOR – The continuation of the third phase of the Pegadaian Championship competition for the 2025/2026 season has officially begun. Garudayaksa FC is scheduled to face Persekat Tegal at Pakansari Stadium, Saturday (14/2/2026).

Looking at the third meeting this season, Garudayaksa FC has positive capital. In the first phase, 20 September 2025, the team from Bogor succeeded in achieving a landslide victory 4-0. Meanwhile in the second phase, 19 November 2025, the two teams played a goalless draw when the match took place at home to Persekat Tegal.

Optimism Ahead of the Match
In the press conference session before the match, team representatives said that Head Coach Erwan could not attend because he was not in good health and had to rest as recommended by the doctor.

“Regarding tomorrow’s match, God willing, we have prepared everything. During this two week break, we have prepared strategies and tactics to face the match. Hopefully everything that Coach Erwan gave us during training can be applied by the players,” said the team representative.

He emphasized that the team’s target is to get full points at home.

“Hopefully we can secure full points here. Amen,” he added.

Three Fixed Price Points
Garudayaksa senior midfielder, Andik Vermansyah, ensured that all players were ready to fight.

“Thank God, all the players are ready to compete and no one is injured. This is the first match in the third round, and of course we hope for three points. Three points are a fixed price because they are very important,” stressed Andik.

He added that competition on the standings is getting tighter so the team cannot afford to lose momentum.

“The standings are very close now, second and third are close together. Like it or not, we have to concentrate and keep winning in every match,” he said.

Impact of Changing Coaches and New Players
Garudayaksa is also entering the third phase with a number of changes, both in the ranks of coaches and the composition of players. The team is now strengthened by a new coach and the addition of two foreign players in the positions of central defender and wing striker (number 11).

According to team representatives, the training atmosphere in the last two weeks has shown an increase in enthusiasm.

“The children have no problem with the change of coach. They look more enthusiastic in training. Hopefully this will have a positive impact on the match,” he said.

It is hoped that the presence of these two foreign players will be able to cover the team’s shortcomings in the defense and attack sectors. Management is optimistic that both of them can make a significant contribution, including in their debut match this weekend.

Andik also admitted that the presence of a new coach brought a different atmosphere.

“Coach Erwan’s arrival is more targeted in my opinion. Hopefully what he wants can connect with all the players. Regarding foreign players, of course we hope they can help and give a new color to the team,” he said.

Even though Persekat is said to have made a number of changes to its squad, Garudayaksa remains focused on the main target.

“Whoever the opponent is, who comes here, three points is a fixed price,” concluded Andik.
