Garuda Ultras Demonstrate & Demand Erick & Arya Resign

Viralterkini.id, Jakarta – The anger of Indonesian National Team Supporters, namely Ultras Garuda, towards PSSI due to the Indonesian National Team failing to qualify for the World Cup and also several demands from Ultras Garuda to which there was no good response from PSSI.

The action took place at around 15.00 WIT and walked from the front of the TVRI office to the PSSI office, precisely at the GBK Arena, on Friday, November 14 2025.

Various banners containing demands were held high by the action participants. One of the banners highlighted the urge for a total revolution within PSSI after their failure to reach the 2026 World Cup.

Criticism was also directed directly at PSSI General Chair Erick Thohir. The supporters asked Erick to step down from his position.

“Erick Thohir Out! Kick politics from football,” read clearly on a number of banners unfurled by the crowd. This sentence became one of the main highlights of the action.

Previously, Ultras Garuda had expressed their disappointment via Instagram uploads. They considered that PSSI’s supporters’ voices were ignored.

“We hereby, supporters of the Indonesian National Team, Ultras Garuda Indonesia, express our disappointment with the Indonesian Football Federation,” they wrote.

The post became the basis for calling the masses to take to the streets. They emphasized that they had not received an open response from PSSI.

“Because up to this moment regarding our demands, there has been no answer that corresponds to what we want openly and explained to the entire wider community,” he said.

Garuda Ultras believes they have given the federation quite a long time. But there was no bright spot that they hoped for.

“We have been given the opportunity for quite a long time, not an answer to our demands has come out,” he said. This situation sparked dissatisfaction among supporters.

They also highlighted the inconsistency in the statement from the PSSI General Chair. “In fact, inconsistent answers have come out of the chairman’s mouth regarding World Cup targets and coaching selection, to the point that there is no FIFA matchday agenda this month,” he said.

The call for action grew stronger after previous demands were ignored. “It’s time for us to move to voice our rights as supporters of the Indonesian National Team. Greetings as one nation!” (ma)
