Draw at home to Persekat, Garudayaksa FC is still perched at the top

Viralterkini.id, Tegal – The match in the 11th week of the Pegadaian Championship 2025/2026 between hosts Persekat Tegal and leaders Garudayaksa FC ended anticlimactically. Competing at the Trisanja Stadium, Tegal, on Wednesday (19/11/2025) afternoon WIB, the two teams had to settle for sharing one point after ending the match with a score of 0-0.

This result is quite surprising considering that the visiting team came with a record of high goal productivity.

In the 25th minute, Garudayaksa FC had a chance with a free kick, after Genta Alparedo committed a foul. The free kick was taken by Andik Vermansah and received by Komang Tri, who immediately converted it into a goal. But unfortunately the referee checked VAR to confirm the goal, potential offside. As a result, Komang Tri’s goal was disallowed for offside.

The Garudayaksa FC coach appreciated the players in this match and accepted the referee’s decision to annul Komang Tri’s goal for offside.

“Firstly, we are grateful, thank God, even though we missed the target, we were able to steal one point and we still respect the hard work of the extraordinary players until the last minute for the team’s motivation and the match was exciting,” said Doel Khamid during the post match pre-con.

“Yes, because there was an offside, it was disallowed. What is clear is that the players’ performance remained without loss of focus and concentration throughout the match,” he said when answering questions from journalists after the match.

As for the players who regretted that the goal was disallowed, the player representative from Garudayaksa FC, namely Manda Cingi, gave a statement,

“What is certain is that the result of this afternoon’s match is not what we wanted, but we should be grateful for one point and we will evaluate it in the future because there is still a long way to go,” said Manda Cingi during the post match pre-con.

With this draw, Garudayaksa FC remains at the top of the standings, with a collection of 24 points, a difference of 4 points from Adhyaksa FC which is in 2nd place.

Meanwhile, an additional 1 point has not been able to bring Persekat Tegal up a level. Currently, Persekat Tegal is still in 9th place in the standings, with a score of 10 points. (ma)
