Carlos Pena hopes for full support from Persita fans when facing Borneo FC

Persita Tangerang coach, Carlos Pena, hopes for full support from Persita Fans by filling the Indomilk Arena stands.

Ahead of this important match, Pena said his team was in high motivation after recording three consecutive wins, including two away wins. According to him, these positive results are valuable capital to face the Etam Pesut at home.

“We will play three home games in the next 20 days. Our preparations are of course trying to restore the players’ condition as quickly and as well as possible,” said Pena in a press conference session.

He emphasized that all the players were looking at the match against Borneo FC with focus and high enthusiasm. Playing at home is an advantage for Persita to continue the positive trend.

“The players are looking at tomorrow’s match, which will be an important match. All the players are well motivated, especially because we will play at home and previously won two away games,” he said.

Pena also invited supporters to come and provide support directly at the stadium. According to him, the presence of Persita Fans will provide additional energy for the team on the field.

“I hope that tomorrow the supporters will come here in large numbers to support us,” he said.

The Spanish coach also acknowledged the quality of Borneo FC which is now handled by Fabio Lefundes. He believes that Pesut Etam has performed consistently since the start of the season and deserves to be at the top of the standings.

“Currently Fabio is doing a good job, and of course he knows Persita and the players here,” said Pena.

However, Pena emphasized that his team’s focus remains on trying to win. He said this match was not about the past, but about Persita fighting Borneo FC for three points.

“Many players worked with him last season, but tomorrow is about Persita against Borneo FC. We will play to get three points and I’m sure this match will be special for him,” he said.
