BRI Super League is legally opened & held starting August 8, 2025 – Indonesia’s latest viral

VIRALTERKINI.ID, JAKARTA – The highest caste competition previously BRI Liga 1 became BRI Super League was legally held on August 8, 2025. The opening party was held in Surabaya in the Persebaya vs PSIM match.

The launch was attended by Erick Thohir (Chairperson of PSSI), Ferry Paulus (President Director I.League), Hery Gunardi (BRI President Director), and Harsiwi Achmad (SCM Director).

Before it was ratified, some of the comments from several statements were given,

“The launch of the BRI Super League 2025/26 is not just a change of name and logo, but a reflection of a new spirit in the management of national football. We are committed to creating a league that is more professional, transparent, and competitive.

BRI President Director, Hery Gunardi stated that BRI’s main reason was willing to become a Super League sponsor title.

“The BRI Super League competition can be an effective and efficient means to improve BRI service and product exposure with presence spread throughout Indonesia. From the economic side, the BRI Super League has the potential to help economic turnover up to more than Rp10.5 trillion.

BRI spread throughout Indonesia as well as known by the Indonesian people, namely having the largest and most branches in Indonesia, may be more than 7,000 branches, 50 million Brimo mobile banking users and more than 1.2 million Bilink agents who can reach 67,000 villages.
