The competition for the championship title, the fight for the top position in the standings, and the hunt for individual awards are increasingly fierce and are in the spotlight of the national football public.

The competition operator, I.League, officially announced the list of nominations for this season’s awards which includes the categories Best Player, Best Young Player, Best Goalkeeper, Best Coach and Best Goal. This award is given to players and coaches who are considered to have performed consistently, made a major contribution to the team, and demonstrated impressive performance throughout the competition.
I.League Main Director, Ferry Paulus, said that the 2025/26 season presented very competitive competition until the last week. According to him, the quality of play of the participating teams has increased significantly, including the emergence of potential young talent and the consistency of the players and coaches throughout the season.
“This season’s competition was very interesting until the last week. The competition was not only in the fight for the championship title, but also in individual performances that were consistent and had a big impact on their respective teams. This nomination is a form of appreciation for their hard work, quality and contribution throughout the season,” said Ferry Paulus.


He explained that the assessment process was carried out through a combination of statistical data, evaluation from the BRI Super League 2025/26 Technical Study Group (TSG), contribution to team performance, and aspects of sportsmanship and consistency of performance.
“We want this award to truly reflect the best quality of the competition. Therefore, the assessment is carried out thoroughly, not only based on statistical figures, but also the impact of players and coaches on the team’s game,” he added.
Ferry considers this season’s award to be a representation of the development of the quality of the national football competition, which is increasingly competitive and developing from year to year.
“Yes, we see an increase in the quality of the game, the emergence of potential young players, and healthy competition at all levels. This is a positive indicator for the future development of Indonesian football and the BRI Super League,” he concluded.
All winners of the BRI Super League 2025/26 awards will be announced after the last week’s series of matches have finished. Apart from the main categories, the committee will also give awards to the top scorer, Fair Play team, and Best XI this season. (ma)
The following is a list of nominees for the 2025/26 BRI Super League awards:
Best Player Nomination
The competition in the Best Player category is one of the most interesting. Five players from top clubs appeared dominant and became the main motor of their team throughout the season.
- Mariano Peralta (Borneo FC Samarinda)
Mariano Peralta is a central figure in the attack line of Borneo FC Samarinda. The score of 18 goals and 13 assists shows his role as the most productive player in creating opportunities and finishing. Apart from recording 72 chances created, Peralta also had 57 successful dribbles and a good defensive contribution for offensive players. His performance brought Borneo FC to continue competing in the title race until the last week. - Federico Barba (Persib Bandung)
This Italian defender is the leader of Persib Bandung’s back line which has emerged as one of the best defenses this season. Barba is not only strong in defensive duels, but is also an important figure in the build-up of Persib’s game. Barba has so far recorded 5 goals, 29 tackles, 100 interceptions and 60 clearances. His consistency, leadership and calmness are a strong foundation for Maung Bandung in the hunt for the title. - Juan Villa (Borneo FC Samarinda)
Juan Villa appeared extraordinary as a playmaking midfielder for Borneo FC. He recorded 405 progressive passes, 228 passes to the final third, and 42 chances created. Not only creative, Villa is also productive with 12 goals and eight assists. The combination of playing vision, ball distribution, and attacking and defensive contributions makes him one of the most complete players this season. - Beckham Putra (Persib Bandung)
Beckham continues to develop into one of the most influential local players in the competition. The Persib midfielder recorded 26 chances created, 138 progressive passes and three assists, and actively helped with attacking and defensive transitions. His mobility and creativity are an important part of Persib’s game. He has also scored 3 goals this season. - Allano Brendon (Persija Jakarta)
Allano has been the motor of Persija Jakarta’s creativity throughout the season. He recorded 62 chances created and nine assists (and 9 goals), while actively building attacks through 317 progressive passes. His role is very important in keeping Persija competitive in the top flight until the end of the season.
Best Young Player nomination
The best young player category presents three names who stand out and consistently make big contributions to their teams.
- Dony Tri Pamungkas (Persija Jakarta)
Persija’s young defender has appeared mature throughout the season. Dony recorded 70 interceptions, 52 recoveries, and an impressive offensive and defensive duel win ratio. Apart from being strong defensively, he is also active in assisting attacks with 31 successful dribbles and 15 successful crosses. - Rivaldo Pakpahan (Borneo FC Samarinda)
Rivaldo showed the qualities of a modern young midfielder with a passing accuracy of 92 percent. He recorded 84 interceptions and 59 recoveries, while appearing disciplined in maintaining the balance of Borneo FC’s game. - Cahya Supriadi (PSIM Yogyakarta)
This young PSIM goalkeeper performed brilliantly between the sticks. With 9 clean sheets and a save ratio of 83 percent, Cahya is one of the important factors in PSIM’s success in appearing competitive this season. He also recorded positive goals prevented, showing his ability to thwart the opponent’s dangerous opportunities.
Best Goalkeeper Nomination
The competition for the best goalkeeper this season is very tight.
- Nadeo Arga Winata (Borneo FC Samarinda)
Nadeo appeared consistent throughout the season with 12 clean sheets and a save ratio of 89 percent. The Indonesian national team goalkeeper also recorded the highest goals prevented among the nominees, proving his role as an important savior for Borneo FC in the title race. - Cahya Supriadi (PSIM Yogyakarta)
Cahya’s impressive performance not only got him nominated for best young player, but also best goalkeeper. His quick reflexes and calmness have been PSIM’s main strengths throughout the season. - Igor Rodrigues (Persita Tangerang)
Persita’s goalkeeper appeared very solid with a save ratio of 91 percent and 12 sweeper actions. Igor has been one of the most consistent goalkeepers this season despite playing in a team that has faced pressure several times throughout the competition.
Best Coach Nomination
Three coaches who were successful in bringing a strong playing identity and maintaining their team’s consistency were nominated for best coaches.
- Fabio Lefundes (Borneo FC Samarinda)
Fabio Lefundes succeeded in keeping Borneo FC in the championship competition until the last week. Their aggressive and productive playing style has made Borneo FC one of the sharpest teams this season. - Bojan Hodak (Persib Bandung)
Bojan Hodak has again shown his capacity as an elite coach by bringing Persib to the lead in the standings heading into the final week. Stability of play and consistency of results are Maung Bandung’s main strengths this season. - Paul Munster (Bhayangkara Presisi Lampung FC)
Paul Munster succeeded in improving the performance of Bhayangkara Presisi Lampung FC to become a competitive and hard-to-beat team. His mix of tactics made his team appear disciplined and effective throughout the season.

The best goal category this season presents three spectacular moments that stole the attention of the national football public.
