BNPB Celebrates Eid al -Adha as well as laying the first stone of the construction of the Mosque – Indonesia’s latest viral

Viralterkini.id, Jakarta – The National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) celebrates Eid al -Adha 1446 Hijri/2025 AD is solemn in the Graha BNPB Building yard, Jakarta, on Friday (6/6/2025).

This celebration became the momentum of BNPB to establish commitment to humanity and unlimited devotion, with the theme “spreading love through sacrificial worship”.

The event began with Eid al -Adha prayers in congregation led by Kyai Haji Fikri Haikal MZ, also attended by the Head of BNPB Lt. Gen. Dr. Suharyanto, S. Sos., MM, High Leadership Officials, as well as employees in the BNPB environment.

After the Eid al -Adha prayer, the Head of BNPB expressed his appreciation and gratitude for the entire series of events. He also congratulated Eid al -Adha 1446 H to all BNPB staff.

In his remarks, the Head of BNPB highlighted the important meaning of the Eid al-Adha celebration which was closely related to human values.

“Eid al -Adha is not just a celebration, but also learning about sacrifice, obedience, sincerity, and the determination of faith,” Suharyanto said.

The Head of BNPB also emphasizes the deep meaning of Eid al-Adha which is not only ceremonial, but also reflects spiritual values ​​that are relevant to the BNPB task, where employees are required to sincerely sacrifice time, energy, and even security in order to help others.

“Every good that is done sincerely will be of great value,” he said.

Along with the Eid al -Adha celebration, the laying of the first stone was also carried out as a symbolic form of the start of the construction of the BNPB Mosque which will stand in the courtyard of the Graha BNPB Building.

This initiative marks BNPB’s commitment in strengthening spiritual and social values, in line with the task of humanity in disaster management.

On this occasion Suharyanto said that the construction of this new mosque was an effort to realize a balance between Hablum Minallaah (Relations with God), Hablum Minannaas (relations between human beings), and Hablum Minal ‘Alam (human relations with nature) in the context of disaster management.

“Hopefully, with the mosque that will be built in this BNPB office yard, of course we can worship better, and carry out other religious social activities with a sense of security, comfort and solemnity,” Suharyanto said.

“I as the Head of BNPB invites all elements to make this development a part of the spirit of unity and dedication. Every stone we put today is a symbol of our hope, unity, and dedication to Allah SWT. Hopefully this good intention will be a charity for all parties involved,” he said.

After laying the first stone, the activity continued with the cutting and distribution of sacrificial animals.

Sacrifice can be interpreted as a form of worship closer to the Creator, as well as a form of sharing happiness and fortune between people.

In Eid al -Adha in 1446 Hijri or 2025 AD, BNPB received and distributed as many as 17 cows and 20 goats and sheep.

The sacrificial meat is then distributed to employees and the community around the BNPB office. The animals are sacrifices from BNPB High Leaders, BNPB employees and BNPB working partners.
