Viratekini.idBANTEN — Bali United FC is looking at the 29th week of the BMI Super League 2025–2026 match against Persita with full optimism. This was revealed in a pre-match press conference attended by coach Khusyoni Jentun and player M. Rahmat.
Bali United FC coach, Johny Jansen, said that his team came with high confidence after achieving positive results in the previous match. Even though the preparation time is relatively short, the team has carried out an analysis of the opponent’s game as a preparation for the match.
“We are still ready. The time is not long, but we have maximized our preparations, including video analysis of the opponent’s match,” said Bali United FC Coach, Johny Jansen.
However, Bali United FC will certainly not appear at full strength. Two key players, Boris and Bagas, had to be absent due to card accumulation. Apart from that, Jody Brown and Mirza Mustafic also cannot be used in this match.
Despite losing a number of players, Khusyoni remains optimistic. He believes that the depth of the squad that Bali United FC has is sufficient to fill this gap.
“We have a strong bench. This is the time for other players to show their quality,” he added.
Meanwhile, M. Rahmat ensured that the team was in top condition. He even said that all the players were ready to fight to secure the three points.
“We are 150 percent ready. We want to continue the positive results and bring home victory,” said Rahmat.
He also added that playing in a representative stadium in Banten was additional motivation for the team to perform optimally.
Entering the final phase of the season with six matches remaining, Bali United FC is determined to continue to maintain its performance and improve its position in the standings. The physical condition of the players which is considered excellent and the flexibility of rotation are important assets in facing a busy schedule.
Regarding the previous meeting which ended in a 0-0 draw, Khusyoni emphasized that he had no special motivation other than winning. According to him, every match has an important meaning in the hunt for points in the standings.
“Our motivation is always the same, we want to win in every match. Three points are very important to improve our position,” he stressed.
The match between Persita and Bali United is predicted to be fierce, considering that both teams both need points to improve their position on the standings towards the end of the season. (ma)
