Assistant Coach of the Italian League Club, Como FC handed over the KU-16 championship trophy won by Remci FC-Viralterkini

BOGOR-The new KU-16 champion in the KONI 2025 rotating trophy is Remci FC after defeating the strong team, the FA battalion with a score of 2-1 which was held for four days for the U-16 category at the Stadium Untung Suntoro, Battalion 14 Group 1 Kopassus, Kemang, Bogor, Wednesday (5/21/2025).

Two goals from the team captain, Andika Pratama, gave achievements that made the champion on this agenda. Although it was left behind first, mental steel and mature strategy to bring Remci FC turn things around.

The final match was fierce since the early minutes. The FA battalion opened the advantage first through Risky AB kick in the 15th minute. However, these advantages did not last long. Five minutes later, Andika Pratama equalized for Remci FC, using the opponent’s back line.

In the second half, the match tension increased. The two teams attack each other, but luck is in favor of Remci FC. Andika Pratama’s remote kick again lodged against the FA Battalion, ensuring the final score of 2-1 and led Remci FC to become the 16th KU-Champion this year.

Remci FC coach, Viuz Muhidin, could not hide his gratitude for the achievement of foster children.

“Alhamdulillah, this year we finally won the title. This was our target from the beginning, especially last year we were only able to become runners-up,” he said after the match.

He also gave special praise to the captain, Andika Pratama, who performed brilliantly by scoring two crucial goals in the top match.

Before reaching the final, Remci FC got rid of Flafa Bali through a penalty shootout with a score of 3-0. On the other hand, the FA battalion also stepped into the final after defeating Fast Bali through a penalty shootout with the same score.

Flafa Bali finally finished in third place, while Fast Bali had to be satisfied in fourth position.

One prestigious individual award was also won by Remci FC player, Gilbert Giopredo Wangge, which was named the KU-16 top score with a score of 7 goals.

“I present all these goals to the team and my parents. I want to continue to develop so that one day I can become a professional player,” Gilbert said excitedly.

The Chairperson of the VI 2025 KONI KONI rotating trophy, Taufik Panji Alam, gave appreciation for the struggle of Remci FC which was considered full of determination since the round of 16.

“Remci FC deserves to be a champion. Their journey from the group phase to the final is very steep and challenging, let alone have to play in two different fields: Untung Suntoro and Elang Bondol,” he said.

Taufik also announced that in the next edition, the tournament will add to the age categories of 18 and 20, expand the competition space for young players in the country.

The moment of the delivery of the championship trophy became more special with the presence of Assistant Coach Como FC, Kurniawan Dwi Yulianto, who directly handed over the rotating trophy of Ketum Koni to Remci FC.

Kurniawan is also a legend of the Indonesian national team praising this tournament as a positive event in fostering early childhood football.

“This is not just a tournament, but an important forum for young Indonesian talents to develop. I hope that in the future this competition can become a regular league so that our young players get more flight hours,” he said.

This annual tournament plans to be even greater next year with an additional age group of 18 and 20 years.

The VI KONI KONI Ketum rotating trophy has become a prestigious stage in capturing the best talents from various regions in Indonesia.
