Ahead of the Release of the EP “Gradients”, Solo Singer from Taiwan, Cait Lin Holds a Listening Session in Jakarta

Viralterkini.id, Jakarta – Solo singer from Taiwan, Cait Lin, is preparing to release her newest EP entitled “Gradients”.

To celebrate the launch, he held an exclusive listening session at Houma Jakarta, South Jakarta, on Tuesday, October 7 2025. This event was attended by relatives, musicians from Jakarta, and a number of music lovers and loyal fans.

The “Gradients” EP contains six songs, each of which presents a different feel, namely “Peace & Love”, “Stand Still”, “Make Time”, “Fragile Love”, “Colours in the Sky”, and “Play the Game”. The song “Fragile Love” is the main focus of this release, showcasing Cait Lin’s most emotional side with honest lyrics and an intimate arrangement.

In this session, Cait Lin shared stories about the creative process behind this EP. He said that Gradients is a reflection of the transitions and dynamics of feelings he has experienced over the last few years.

“Every song on this EP is a different color from my life. There are calm moments, there are moments full of doubt, and there are also hopes. I want listeners to feel the gradations of emotions,” said Cait Lin in front of the guests.

He also added that the song “Fragile Love” is the most personal point on this EP. “I wrote ‘Fragile Love’ when I was feeling very fragile, but that’s where I found the strength to be honest with myself,” he said.

Cait Lin’s EP “Gradients” was opened first with the singles “Make Time”, “Stand Still” and “Play the Game” which were released on all online music player platforms.

With a musical style that combines alternative pop, soft electronics and a touch of ambient, Cait Lin has further strengthened her position as an independent musician to be reckoned with on the Asian music scene.

All material from the EP “Gradients” will be available on various digital streaming platforms starting October 14 2025 and is a new step for Cait Lin in expanding her musical reach to an international audience. (ma)
