The Regent of Central Halmahera officially received the Universal Health Coverage (UHC) Award 2026, a prestigious appreciation for the real commitment of the regional government in ensuring the health of all levels of society.

​The event which took place magnificently at the JIEXPO Kemayoran Ballroom, Central Jakarta, Tuesday (27/1/2026), was attended by high-ranking state officials. The award was handed over directly by the Main Director of BPJS Health, Ali Ghufran Mukti, and witnessed by the Coordinating Minister for Community Empowerment of the Republic of Indonesia, Dr. (HC) Muhaimin Iskandar, M.Sc.

Amazingly, the BPJS Health activity level in Bumi Fagogoru has reached a significant figure of 89.54 percent, an achievement that ensures that almost the entire community can immediately access medical services instantly and for free when needed.

​With this achievement, the Central Halmahera Regency Government has succeeded in providing assurance that no more residents should be afraid to seek treatment due to cost constraints.
