Perbasi General Chair Appoints Perbasi DPD Management

Viralterkini,id, Jakarta – Central Perbasi held a series of inaugurations for regional management held at Wisma Kemenpora, Jalan Pemuda Gate, Senayan, Central Jakarta, Friday (21/11).

Directly inaugurated by the General Chairperson of the PERBASI DPP Budisatrio Djiwandono, around nine regional administrators were appointed simultaneously.

The nine PERBASI DPDs are Bangka Belitung Islands, Maluku, West Sumatra, Riau Islands, Southeast Sulawesi, Central Kalimantan, North Sulawesi, West Papua and Riau. The Chairmen, General Secretary and Treasurer were present at this simultaneous inauguration.

The inauguration was also attended by Perbasi DPP Management including Deputy General Chair for the Sumatra Zone Ronny Yenes; Sulawesi Zone, NTT, NTB Mohammad Salahuddin; and Papua-Maluku Zone Kelvin Winata. Then the Indonesian Minister of Youth and Sports Erick Thohir and Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Taufik Hidayat then deputies at the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

This moment was also attended by administrators in their respective regions via virtual.

This simultaneous inauguration was carried out for regional administrators who had been elected through regional deliberations. This step was taken for efficiency and effectiveness in running the organization.

After inaugurating, Chairman of the DPP PERBASI Budisatrio Djiwandono reminded regional administrators regarding future PERBASI programs. In the future, DPP PERBASI is trusted to host the Asian and world youth championships.

September 2027, Indonesia will host the FIBA ​​U16 Women’s Asia Cup 2027. Then in July 2028, Indonesia will be trusted to host the FIBA ​​U18 Asia Cup 2028.

Furthermore, Indonesia won the trust to host the Basketball World Cup.

In July 2028, the FIBA ​​Women’s U17 Basketball World Cup 2028 will be held, then from June to July 2029 the FIBA ​​U19 Basketball World Cup 2029 will take place.

With the implementation of world and Asian championships for young people, Ketum Budisatrio Djiwandono instructed all DPD PERBASI to increase the number of competitions and tiered championships in their respective regions.

“Increasing human resources and also improving the quality of qualified human resources and then strengthening the database,” said Budisatrio Djiwandono.

Meanwhile, Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Taufik Hidayat congratulated all DPD administrators who had been appointed by PERBASI DPP Ketum Budisatrio Djiwandono. The Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports gave a message to all administrators to maintain unity as basketball is a team sport. (ma)
