PP Gold Medal Target. PBVSI at the 2025 SEA Games

Viralterkini.id, BOGOR – PP. PBVSI released the Indonesian men’s national volleyball team which will compete in the 2025 SEA Games. Jeff Jiang’s squad is scheduled to hold training and test matches in China next Monday (17/11).

Chairman of PP. PBVSI, Imam Sudjarwo revealed that Jasen Natanael Kilanta and his friends were more mature in their preparations for the big sports event between Southeast Asian countries. It is hoped that with careful preparation, the Garuda squad can again maintain the tradition of winning gold medals after previously winning in the 2019, 2021 and 2023 editions.

“In the 33rd edition of the 2025 SEA Games, I am sending off the Indonesian men’s national volleyball team which will fight. Of course, we hope to be able to maintain the gold medals we have won since 2019, 2021 and 2023,” said Imam in his send-off speech, at the Police General Kunarto Volleyball Center, Sentul, Bigor, Saturday (15/11/2025)

The Indonesian men’s national volleyball team at the 2025 SEA Games is in Group B with Cambodia, the Philippines and Myanmar. Imam assessed that the opponents in the group phase were very tight, especially the Philippines, who previously had experience playing in the 2025 World Championship.

“Seeing the results in the 2025 SEA V League, of course all countries have prepared themselves carefully. Seeing the new strength, the Philippines should be taken into account considering that they have experience playing in the 2025 FIVB Men’s Volleyball World Championship.”

“This year we are combining senior and junior players. It is hoped that in the future the juniors can replace the seniors. I am sure that these individuals can unite into a very solid team,” said Imam.

The captain of the Indonesian men’s national volleyball team, Jasen Natanael Kilanta, admitted that he was ready to carry out the task of winning a gold medal again at the 2025 SEA Games. The player who was born on February 20 1999 assessed that the teamwork between the players had gone well so far so he was ready to fly the Red and White flag again in Thailand.

“We are certainly motivated after we won the title in the second round of the 2025 SEA V League in Jakarta. We are more optimistic because we know each other’s character,” said the man from North Sulawesi.

It is planned that the Indonesian men’s national volleyball team will hold a training camp in China starting next Monday (17/11). Later in the Bamboo Curtain Country, we will not only practice, several trials will also be carried out by Alfin Daniel Pratama and his friends.
