Indonesian young tennis player shows achievements in Dijc 2025 – Indonesia’s latest viral

Viralterkini.id, Sukoharjo – A number of Indonesian young tennis players recorded a brilliant beginning in the second week of Detec International Junior Championship, Tuesday, June 3, 2025. Komang Bagus Wahyu Purustama (13 years) successfully bent the 10th Seeded, Om Kumaran Chinnaswamy from Australia 6-4, 7-5. While Rafa Jeconia Verdasco Mangunsong (16) won over her compatriot who occupies the sixth leading position, Ethan David Zapp 7-5, 6-3. Likewise, M. Alfaradu Sumirat (16) who was able to cover the 16th Seeded, Bon Hang Koo from South Korea 6-1, 6-1.

“This is a good start of young and white young players, hopefully it will continue until the next round,” said Anshari Nursida, manager of Detec (Deddy Prasetyo Tennis Club) as Director of the ITF J30 level tournament.

Meanwhile, the top seed of the official event in the calendar of the International Tennis Federation Junior Federation (ITF) competition is still unstoppable. The first Seeded of men’s singles, Ahmad Fauzan (18) is superior to a fellow countryman, Dwi Ade Rahmantoro. Ranking 695 of the world junior won straight set 6-4, 6-3.

The first winner in the same arena last week, Michal Ihsan Wicaksana (18) was ahead of Zihao Liu (China) 6-4, 6-1. While Finalist, M. Akmal Junaini covered Shouunak Suvarna (India) 6-0, 6-4.

Likewise in the women’s sector. First seed, Shinar Zahra Shukayna Heriyadi Sunggoro is still too strong for Taiwan’s representative, Jia Xin Phoebe Chang 6-0, 6-2.

Detec International Junior Championship 2025 rolling two series in two weeks, is an event for tennis player aged up to 18 years in the ITF World Tennis Tour Juniors series.

This year is the fourth edition. Gelora Merdeka Sukoharjo Tennis Field became the new venue of this event after Bantul (DIY) and Jember (East Java).
