Viralterkini.idPARIS – Finance ministers and central bank governors of Group of Seven (G7) member countries are scheduled to begin gathering in Paris, Monday (18/5/2026), to discuss various global challenges that are currently emerging, ranging from soaring world oil prices to the threat of cyber attacks based on artificial intelligence (AI).

The two-day meeting will be attended by a number of important officials, including Japanese Finance Minister Satsuki Katayama and Bank of Japan Governor Kazuo Ueda.
The increase in oil prices became one of the main agendas after the disruption of shipping routes in the Strait of Hormuz due to the escalation of the conflict following the United States and Israel’s attacks on Iran. This situation is considered to have a direct impact on global supply chains and has the potential to suppress world economic growth.
Apart from energy issues, the G7 countries are also paying serious attention to the development of Anthropic’s latest AI technology called Claude Mythos.

A number of cybersecurity experts are said to be concerned that AI’s capabilities could be used to find system security gaps that could potentially be used in attacks on financial institutions and other strategic organizations.
However, on the other hand, several technology companies and the financial sector are starting to look at using AI as a tool to detect system vulnerabilities before they are infiltrated by cybercriminals. Therefore, the G7 countries will discuss forms of international cooperation to ensure that the use of AI technology remains safe, controlled and not misused.
The forum is also expected to highlight the stability of supplies of critical minerals and rare earth metals which are now a concern for developed countries amid China’s dominance in the global supply chain of these sectors.
Not only economic and technological issues, the G7 meeting is also expected to discuss continuing support for Ukraine in the face of the ongoing Russian invasion.
The G7 members consist of the United States, Britain, France, Germany, Italy, Japan and Canada. Meanwhile, the European Union participates in every meeting as a non-enumerated member. (ma)

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
