Viralterkini.id, Belgium – The FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps race is predicted to be tight with tire strategy being the main determining factor. The characteristics of the Spa-Francorchamps Circuit in Belgium, which is around 7 kilometers long and has an abrasive asphalt surface, makes tire degradation very high.
Even though it is not the longest track on the FIA WEC calendar because it is still less than the Circuit de la Sarthe which is used in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Spa is still one of the most challenging circuits for teams and drivers.
The official tire supplier for the LMGT3 class, Goodyear, estimates that all teams will maximize the use of new tires at every pit stop in the race which will take place on Saturday (9/5). It is considered that the additional tire allocation regulations will be fully utilized because track conditions cause tire performance to decline quickly.

A different situation occurred in the previous series at Imola, when several teams were still allowed to use old tires during pit stops due to the nature of the circuit and the course of the race. However, at Spa, the chances of this strategy being used are thought to be very small.

The possibility of using old tires can only occur if the Safety Car neutralizes the race several times for a long duration or it rains heavily, conditions which often occur in the Ardennes Mountains area.
“It is very possible for teams to maximize tire performance in each stint by using new tires. At Spa there is also no tendency for tires to wear out quickly on the left or on the right, because the types of corners are relatively balanced so tires can be replaced at once. We estimate that the strategy between teams will be similar,” said Goodyear’s endurance race program manager, Stephen Bickley.
The results of two free practice sessions on Thursday (7/5) showed an increase in the performance of the LMGT3 cars compared to last season. The average lap time looks faster and strengthens Goodyear’s predictions regarding the use of new tires throughout the race.
Team WRT 32 took advantage of the FP1 and FP2 sessions with the main focus on their Bronze racer, Darren Leung. Leung underwent race simulations by consistently recording an average time in the range of 2 minutes 22.3 seconds to 2 minutes 22.5 seconds, which was considered competitive compared to other Bronze racers.
Meanwhile, his two teammates, Augusto Farfus and Sean Gelael, mostly undertook short runs in preparation for qualifying, although Sean also had time to simulate long runs.
This strategy was prepared to optimize Team WRT 32’s opportunities to penetrate Hyperpole. If Leung is able to bring the car into the top 10 in the Qualifying session, then Sean Gelael will have the task of hunting for the best starting position in the deciding session.

Usually, Leung will undergo a qualifying simulation in FP3 which will take place several hours before the Qualifying session is held this Friday.
The 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps race can be watched for free via the KUY Entertainment YouTube channel and the gelaelized.com website on Saturday, May 9 2026 starting at 19.00 WIB.
Sean Gelael appeared at the FIA WEC this season with support from KFC Indonesia, Pertamax Turbo, Pertamina Fastron, Telkomsel and Bank Aladin Syariah. (ma)

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
