VIRALTERKINI.ID, JAKARTA-The 2025 National Police Chief Cup Badminton Championship in commemoration of the 79th Bhayangkara Day was officially opened on Tuesday (2/7) morning at GOR State University of Jakarta (UNJ), Rawamangun, East Jakarta. The event which began on the 1st yesterday and will end on 6 July opened by the National Police Chief Representative, Inspector General Anwar, SIK, M.Sc as the US HR.
On this occasion, Anwar said that the National Police fully supported the implementation of the 2025 National Police Chief Cup.
“The National Police welcomed and supported this tournament as part of a commitment to develop the achievements of the community and the National Police in the field of sports,” Anwar said in his remarks.
“Congratulations on competing to all participants. Lose winning ordinary things, upholding sportsmanship and cohesiveness,” Anwar ordered.
Also attending the opening ceremony of the PP PBSI Chairperson as well as the National Police Head of Police M. Fadil Imran, PBSI Secretary General Ricky Soebagdja, the ranks of the Indonesian National Police and PBSI Central Board and sponsor representatives.
The Chief of Police Cup is not just a championship but is a collaborative momentum between PBSI and the National Police in strengthening sustainable and structured badminton sports under the spirit of badminton for the pride and joy of the nation, “said Fadil.
“We want to ensure the badminton ecosystem continues to grow from upstream to downstream, from early age fostering to the international stage. In the midst of the current challenges of sports, the presence and support of institutions such as the Indonesian National Police are clear evidence that sports are part of the nation’s strategic investment because in every field the spirit of unity, discipline and fighting power is in line with the vision of Indonesia gold,” he continued.
Fadil thanked the National Police for the dedication to Indonesian badminton. Fadil hopes that from the National Police Cup created world champions from Indonesia.
“Thank you to the National Police Chief for the dedication to Indonesian badminton. This is to turn on competition and competition. The club can measure achievements through this competition, coaching can increase through this competition,” said Fadil.
“We hope that from this championship the future talents will be born that will make Indonesia proud on the world stage such as legends and previous champions,” he hoped.
Not to forget, Fadil also delivered a message for Bhayangkara Day. “On behalf of the extended family of PP PBSI and the ranks, we say the 79th Dirgahayu Bhayangkara, Polri for the community and PBSI for Indonesia,” concluded Fadil. (ma)
