Viralterkini.id, Jakarta – The premiere of the comedy-drama film “Mertua Ngeri Kali” produced by Im-a-gin-e was lively and a great success in Jakarta. The presence of Mother Corla, who made her first appearance as a big screen actress, became the center of attention and also triggered laughter from the guests throughout the gala premiere event.
The atmosphere at the gala looked full of energy from the first minute of the film. The audience repeatedly burst into laughter when watching the character of Donda, the lively and surprising father-in-law played by Bunda Corla. The event was also attended by producers Chetan A. Samtani and Nisha A. Samtani, director Key Mangunsong, as well as all the main actors such as Dimas Anggara, Naysilla Mirdad, Gita Bhebhita, Sophie Navita, Siti Fauziah, Farrell Rafisqy, and Bonar Manalu. Producer Nisha Samtani said that Bunda Corla’s appearance brought fresh dynamics that enriched the film. He considered the star’s spontaneous energy to be an important element in enlivening the atmosphere of the set. Meanwhile, director Key Mangunsong explained that this film does not just present comedy, but also depicts the dynamics of modern families and the pressures that young couples often experience.
Mother Corla herself admitted that she was enthusiastic about her first acting experience. With a typical style full of expression, he invited laughter from the guests when he talked about the shooting process and the character he played. He hopes that this film will be well received by the audience during the official screening.
The premiere gala of “Mertua Ngeri Kali” also received support from MK Skin as the official partner. After the premiere, the production team and cast are scheduled to hold a series of roadshows to Surabaya, Nganjuk, Solo, Yogyakarta, Makassar, Lampung and Jakarta to greet the audience more closely.
