Boy Warongan & Gabriella Fernaldi Collaborate on Contemplative Single, “Not Bolehan Pulang”

Viralterkini.id, Jakarta – Musician from Pematang Siantar, Boy Warongan, has officially released his latest single entitled “Not Boleh Home”. The release of this song also marks his return to the world of music after a hiatus following the departure of the late Ade F. Paloh, who was previously the producer of his work.

This song is a continuation of Boy’s musical journey after his debut with the single “Juang Angan” (2023), as well as the opening to the full album entitled “Juang Angan” which will be released next November.

Duet with Gabriella Fernaldi (Gebi), the single “Belum Boleh Pulang” raises the theme of longing that is stifled by work demands and urban reality.

With a warm Bossanova feel and intimate acoustic arrangement, this song depicts the emotional struggles of a migrant who has not been able to return home.

Lyrics such as “I want to forget everything, various burdens / But what can I do, I chase everything / Oo I can’t go home yet” have become a universal reflection for many listeners.

The vocal collaboration between Boy and Gebi creates a touching musical dialogue. Boy represents the voice of the struggle out there, while Gebi presents a figure who is waiting with great hope.

The production of this song was handled by S. Pramudita and Kinigi from the Tigapagi group, who continued the creative relay after the departure of Ade F. Paloh.

The single “Belu Boleh Pulang” is also part of the “trilogy of going home” on Boy’s “Juang Angan” album, which explores the meaning of going home physically and spiritually.
