Viralterkini.id, Jakarta – Persija Jakarta officially appointed TNI (Ret) Marshal Ardhi Tjahjoko as the team manager to face the League 1 season of the 2025/2026 season.

This decision was announced directly by the club’s management as part of the preparation strategy to welcome the new season.

Ardhi’s return to the team manager’s chair marked a new chapter of his collaboration with the Capital City team. He will work side by side with head coach Mauricio Souza in managing various technical and non-technical aspects of the team, starting from the preseason to the implementation of official competition.

“For next season, management decided to appoint a young TNI (ret) Ardhi Tjahjoko to become a team manager,” said Persija Director, Mohamad Prapanca, in the club’s official statement on Friday (5/30/2025).

Prapanca added, the decision was taken based on Ardhi’s positive track record while handling Persija in the previous period.

He is considered as a figure who understands the culture of the team and is able to build a solid work atmosphere on and off the field.

During his first period with Persija, Ardhi Tjahjoko managed to record extraordinary achievements.

The 2018 season became the peak moment when he took the Kemayoran Tigers to win the treble winner: 2018 League 1 champions, the 2018 Presidential Cup, and the 2018 Super Cup Boost Fix.

This achievement became a gold history for the club and confirmed Ardhi’s position as one of the most successful managers in Persija’s history.
