AMPG DKI Jakarta Supports Zaki Iskandar to Lead Golkar DKI – Indonesia’s latest viral

Viralterkini.id, Jakarta – Ahead of the Regional Deliberation (Musda) of the DKI Jakarta Golkar Party scheduled to take place at the end of July 2025, support for Ahmed Zaki Iskandar to return to serving as Chairman of the DKI Jakarta Golkar Party DPD I continued to flow.

The latest, official support was delivered by the DKI Jakarta Golkar Party (AMPG) Youth Force.

The Chairperson of DKI Jakarta AMPG, Rob Clinton Kardinal, assessed that Zaki Iskandar as the most worthy figure in leading Golkar Jakarta for the coming period.

Zaki’s work and achievement during the leader were considered to have a major impact on strengthening the structure and increase in party electoral in the Capital City.

“Because the increase in votes and seats in the 2024 legislative election was very significant. Golkar won 10 seats in the DKI Jakarta DPRD and placed two of its representatives in the Indonesian Parliament. This was an achievement that could not be separated from the strategic role of Bang Zaki,” Rob said in his statement on Tuesday (7/15/2025).

Rob added, Golkar under the leadership of Zaki made it into the top five parties with the highest vote acquisition in the DKI Jakarta DPRD.

Not only that, Zaki was also considered successful when he was trusted as the head of the Prabowo-Gibran Regional Campaign Team (TKD) in Jakarta in the 2024 Presidential Election.

“Bang Zaki successfully delivered the victory of the pair Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka won 57.26 percent votes in DKI Jakarta. This proves his capacity in organizing and leading political machines,” continued Rob, also known as young politicians and talented entrepreneurs.

Zaki Iskandar, a former Tangerang Regent for two periods, referred to as an egalitarian, open, and not elitist leader.

This was emphasized by Rob, who said Zaki always went straight to the field and helped all legislative candidates (candidates) from Golkar in various electoral districts (Dapil) of Jakarta during the 2024 election campaign period.

“Not only candidates from his electoral districts are assisted. All candidates in all electoral districts have the support of Bang Zaki. That is a real form of leadership, uniting and empowering,” he said.

In line with Rob, Deputy Chairperson of DKI Jakarta AMPG, Muhammad Ahmad Balbaid, also voiced his support.

According to him, Zaki has proven the ability to manage and build organizational solidity to the lower levels.

“Zaki has brought a new color in the leadership of DKI Jakarta Golkar. His wise and humble attitude makes him acceptable to all elements of the party, both the founder organization and those established,” said Balbaid.

He called Zaki as a leader who was able to bridge the relationship between seniors and juniors, created a harmonious work atmosphere, and made the party structure more solid.

This condition, continued Balbaid, made many cadres feel sympathy and supported him back to lead the DKI Jakarta Golkar.

“Zaki highly respects seniors, as well as respecting the role of junior. He is able to make management at the DPD I and DPD II level work synergistically. No wonder that support for him is very massive ahead of this Musda,” he added.

Support for Zaki not only came from young parties, but also from various internal elements of DKI Jakarta Golkar.

A number of internal figures considered Zaki as a unifying figure who was able to bring political stability and consolidation in the party environment.

This year’s DKI Jakarta Golkar Party Musda is seen as an important momentum to determine the direction and strategy of the party ahead of the 2024 simultaneous local elections and the 2029 elections.

With an increasing electability trend and a solid cadre base, DKI Jakarta Golkar requires leadership that is able to maintain continuity while adapting to new political dynamics.

Ahmed Zaki Iskandar is currently referred to as the strongest single candidate to return to the Chairman of the DKI Jakarta Golkar Party DPD I.
